Managing accreditations

Managing accreditations within an event 

When you add an accreditation item in a specific event, they will only be available in this event. 

Please note; if you would like to add accreditation items which needs to be available in all events, then you have to do this within the Launchpad. Read more about this here. 

Accreditation items are added per category. This means, you first have to create a category where you can add the items to. 

Adding an accreditation category. 

  1. Go to ‘Settings’ in the event. 
  2. Click ‘Accreditations’. 
  3. Click ‘Add accreditation category’. 
  4. Name the category and select which type this category belongs to. You can add a description when this category will be a part of external production requests. The external organisations will see this description. 
  5. Click ‘Add category’ and you are ready to create accreditation items!🎉 

Adding accreditation items. 

  1. Click on the ‘+’ item in the corresponding category. 
  2. At the first submenu you fill in the general information about this item. Name the item. 
  3. You can choose to give the item a product ID (SKU). This is not required and meant for your own administration. 
  4. You can enter the cost price and sales price to inform the external organisation about the charges for this item. 
  5. You can add a description when this category will be a part of external production requests. The external organisations will see this description. 
  6. It is possible to enable personalization. The recipient of this item receives a request by email whether to personalize the items. This option is often used with tickets from external ticket providers to prevent resale. 
  7. Click ‘Continue’.
  8. At the second submenu you will fill in the details about the availability of the item. Choose whether this item is date dependent or date independent. In order words, is this an item that can be picked up once and is only valid on that day, or is it an item that can be picked up and is valid the entire event. 
  9. Decide, with the help of the check marks, if the item is available on individual level or in bulk
  10. If necessary, enter a limit for this item. 
  11. Click ‘Continue’.
  12. Use the toggles to determine for which crowd types this item is available.
  13. Click on ‘Continue’.
  14. Enter the limits for this item. 
  15. Click on ‘Continue’.
  16. Use the toggle if you want to add an extra ticket to this item. This means that the receiver of this item will get a special e-ticket to be able to collect or use this item.
  17. Click on ‘Continue’.
  18. At the ‘Advanced Settings’ you can choose to use numeric barcodes, and if so, out of how many numbers you want the barcode to exist. 
  19. Do you want to save this item in your Launchpad settings? Use the toggle to do so! By doing this the item will be available in your other events as well. 
  20. Click on ‘Add item’ and you’re ready to rumble, eh, accreditate. 🕺🏽
