Difference user rights and user roles

User rights: These are rights you can assign to a user. With this you determine what a user can see, edit and delete from the In2Event account. When you add a new user to the account, you select the rights of the user.

 

User roles: With a user role you determine what a user can see, edit and delete in an event. When you add a new user to an event, you select which user role is assigned to this new user. The role that is assigned to a user, can differ per event.

Where to find the user rights settings;

  1. Go to the Launchpad.
  2. Select ‘Users’ and click on the name of the user you would like to add the user rights to.

Where to find the user roles settings;

  1. Go to the Launchpad.
  2. Select ‘Team > Roles and capabilities’.
